Brendan Cockram - Director
Brendan has extensive technical and commercial experience with all aspects of small business. Prior to founding Octavian Group, Brendan was a Senior Business Broker with Performance Business Sales, responsible for the sale of over 50 private businesses ranging in value up to $10 million. He has considerable experience in sourcing, negotiating and transacting private business investments.
Brendan also has a strong business management background, having owned and operated a successful telecommunications and tech hardware business for over a decade. Brendan remains a small business owner and an active participant in Perth’s small business community.

Michael Rovira - Director
Michael has a broad professional advisory background, working across a range of industries in Australia and Asia-Pacific including resources, infrastructure and financial services. Prior to founding Octavian Group, Michael held senior advisory positions within both the private and listed space, including most recently with Atlas Iron.
Michael holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Western Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and Science. He was the recipient of the BHP MBA Scholarship and maintains close ties within the business school community.

Mark Zwitser - Non-Executive Director
Mark brings extensive corporate finance experience having worked in the private equity, corporate advisory, banking and the commercial sectors globally. In 2008, Mark co-founded Element Capital, a Perth-based corporate advisor firm. Prior to this he was the Investment Manager for IMC Resources, a private equity group. Mark has raised over $500m of capital and has worked across a broad range of industries
Mark holds a Masters degree in Economics and Finance, has presented at various conferences and has delivered in-house training for organisations including ASIC.

Matthew Bowles - Non-Executive Director
Matthew has extensive experience in corporate advisory, M&A and equity and debt capital markets, in Australia, EMEA and the America’s. He has held senior executive and board positions in both small and large cap companies and has advised on a broad range of corporate transactions across a various industry sectors.
Matthew was previously an Executive Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at global advisory firm Ernst & Young. Prior to this he spent eight years with Rio Tinto Limited in a number of senior management and finance roles and four years in London in corporate finance and investment banking.
